The Role:
As the Sales & Event Manager at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge you will be the key contact for any clients wanting to book short term meetings within 60 days or less with 30 rooms or less on the peak night. - Collaborating with the Director of Events and Director of Group Sales to create strategies and tactics to increase catering and guestroom revenue in need times.
- Processing all details of the event from beginning to end, processing all the information pertaining to the booking and distribute to all appropriate departments.
- Yielding guestroom rates, meeting space and catering revenue to optimize hotel revenues.
- Achieving a target of 50% conversion ratio on all incoming inquiries.
- Exceed all booking targets and revenue goals.
- Accuracy of information input into CI/TY and or Reserve will ensure detailed follow up notes and traces for further client contact through e-marketing, calls and hotel events.

Qualifications:

- Maintains pools, sauna, steam rooms, public guest space (indoor and outdoor), and back-of-house areas by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and tiling to ensure an attractive and well-maintained spa.
- Be aware and vigilant to protect yourself, employees, guests and the property against safety hazards. Take responsibility for following up on repairs or solutions and their execution.

The Role

The Role
As an attendant in our food and beverage outlets, you will be instrumental in providing the highest quality of service to our guests by working alongside and supporting the front-of-house service team. Job duties:

- Cook’s trade certification, which is available in all provinces and territories, or equivalent credentials, training and experience required
- Completion of Secondary school required
- Formal education in Food and Beverage or Hospitality Management an asset

- Support and guide the surveillance team by ensuring all are working well together.
- Ensure BCLC & GPEB Policies, Procedures, and Regulations, along with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Internal Department Procedures (IDP) are conducted to the highest integrity level and professionalism.
- Proactively observe and review videos to complete required documentation of specific incidents, including, but not limited to, customer complaints, procedural errors, risk management issues, AML investigation, player evaluations, thefts, and discrepancies.
- Responsible for monitoring table games, slot machines, and all critical areas of the Casino.
- Complete daily logs, prepare compliance review reports and incident reports as required.
- Preserve video coverage/evidence of significant events as directed
- Train new employees as well as coach current employees regarding the implementation of new policies and procedures
